Boost Your Vibrational Frequency with Essential Oils

Essential Oils Voltlin

Introduction to Essential Oils:

“Everything is energy and that’s all there is to it. Match the frequency of the reality you want and you cannot help but get that reality. It can be no other way. This is not philosophy. This is physics.” ~Bashar channeled by Darryl Anka.

"Essential Oil" is a term stemming from “Quintessential” which comes from the Aristotelian idea that matter is composed of 4 physical elements (Air, Fire, Water, and Earth) with the 5th element being Spirit. Distillation was once thought to remove the spirit from a plant and thus Essential Oils are a concentration of the plant’s spiritual life force.

Essential Oils are created from various parts of plants including leaves, bark, flowers, seeds, and more. They are the plant’s immune system, protection, and, in some cases, how the plant reproduces as they draw in pollinating insects. To create the oils, high amounts of plant matter is used to distill a small amount of oil. This can be a painstaking process. For example, jasmine flowers must be handpicked early in the morning, before the heat of the day diminishes their oils. It takes 1000 pounds of these flowers to create a single pound of jasmine essential oil.

Many people today wish to attain holistic wellness using plant therapies in the form of herbs and oils. Some have avoided essential oils because they are “man-made” and therefore considered unnatural and, for some, unwanted because of the technical process of distillation. We would argue that their method of creation and concentration is one of the biggest reasons to use them!

One of the key benefits of essential oils is the ability to easily transport and have access to the benefits of plants without storing or carrying a large amount of material. Rather than carrying a bouquet of roses, a box of dried chamomile flowers or even a large jar of vegetable oil infused with medicinal herbs - a bottle of essential oil fits in the palm of your hand and is more powerful than the dried or otherwise processed plant.

Another benefit that occurs in the creation of essential oils is a chemical reaction. For some plants, the distillation process can affect the very molecules in the essential oil. Not to get too scientific, I’ll try and focus on the example of German Chamomile (Matricaria Recutita). In its untouched plant form, it contains essential oils that are anti-inflammatory and relaxing. When distilled into an essential oil, a reaction takes place and chamazulene forms. This has strong anti-inflammatory effects on top of the Bisabolol sesquiterpene alcohols already present. In layman’s terms, the distillation process strengthens the anti-inflammatory effects of German Chamomile essential oil as well as gives it it's signature blue color (which creates the added benefit of soothing color therapy when used).

Essential Oils as Tools to Obtain Higher Vibrational Frequencies:

10 Essential Oils with High Vibrational Frequencies

“Clinical research shows that essential oils have the highest frequency of any natural substance known to man, creating an environment in which disease, bacteria, virus, fungus, etc., cannot live. I believe that the chemistry and frequency of essential oils have the ability to help man maintain the optimal frequency to the extent that disease cannot exist.” ~Gary Young of Young Living.

Plant therapies, such as using essential oils in aromatherapy, have been around for thousands of years. Recently they’ve had a resurgence in popularity. Many believe that this is in response to the modern need to turn away from the separation of mind, body, and spirit in its treatment and care. Kurt Schnaubelt, in his book Advanced Aromatherapy, states “Aromatherapy can be a first step in overcoming the separation of mind and emotion, of body and soul… What is impressive about Aromatherapy is that it allows us to overcome part of this [spiritual] alienation so easily.”

One of the ways we can utilize the benefits of essential oils to bring our physical and spiritual bodies back into balance is by looking at and applying them based on their vibrational frequency. Referred to as Chi or life force, there is a subtle energy that flows through all organic life. This energy vibrates at various frequencies just like electricity. Also, like electricity, this energy can be measured.

Bruce Tainio of Tainio Technology invented the BT3 Frequency Monitoring System that measured bio-electrical frequencies emitted by plants and other organic substances. His research was based on a foundation laid by the incredible works of Dr. Royal R. Rife M.D., father of electricity Nikolai Tesla, and radiologist Bjorn Nordenstrom.

Tainio found that a healthy human body, at an optimal level, averages between 62-68Mhz. He and others that adopted his methods and theories, tested several substances and methods of raising and lowering vibration in the human body. Even thoughts and feelings were found to have a vibratory quality that forms a measurable frequency. A negative mental state can lower a person's frequency by 10-12Mhz whereas a positive mental attitude or activities such as prayer and meditation can raise it by 10-15Mhz.

When positive mental states need aid, however, other substances can be used. By applying essential oils with particular frequencies to the body the oils higher frequency will raise the vibratory quality of the individual. This can be done to diminish disease or to bring emotional aid. Essential oils with high vibrational frequencies tend to affect the emotions while those of lower frequencies have stronger effects on the physical body. Just as with most therapies, however, a holistic approach taking mind, body, and spirit into account has the best outcome.

Essential oils can be used in three different ways: diffused into the environment, topically, or internally. Before administering essential oils to address the needs of mind, body, and spirit, however, it is wise to address the safe use of essential oils. There are actually very few accessible studies on the toxicity and safety of essential oils. Currently Robert Tisserand’s book “The Essential Oil Safety Data Manual” is the only standard work regarding this topic. Those essential oils with the greatest potential risk include those containing the ketone Thujone (such as the artemesias), poisonous plants like Rue, and sensitizing oils like those of citrus plants that can cause rashes when used topically then exposed to the sun. Most oils, if used topically, should be diluted in a carrier oil (vegetable oils such as coconut oil or olive oil). Fewer oils are generally considered safe for internal use such as Lavender, Peppermint, Frankincense, and Lemon.

Kurt Schnaubelt Ph.D. expresses the topic of essential oils and safety best in his book “Advanced Aromatherapy” when he says “If used in an appropriate, sensible manner, essential oils are safe and their use should be free of any complications.”

Because of regulations placed by both Canadian and American Governments, we have to refrain from stating claims such as Essential Oils can cure, treat, or prevent diseases and illnesses. I strongly challenge you to see for yourself the power of vibrational frequencies of essential oils.

A fantastic way to begin benefiting from high-frequency essential oils is the add them to your everyday tasks. Add essential oils to cleaners to bring their purification and metaphysical properties to your home’s walls and floors. Combine them with your meditation or fitness routine either by wearing or diffusing into the atmosphere for a boost to the physical and etheric bodies. Introduce them to your children in diluted amounts to gently encourage their holistic development.

Can Essential Oils Help Asthma?

Can Essential Oils Help Asthma?

Asthma is a disease that inflames the walls of passageways that supply air to the lungs. Inflamed airways are sensitive and complicate breathing. Common asthma symptoms include breathing problems, wheezing, coughing, and tightness in the chest. Asthma has no cure. Doctors identify the factors that trigger asthmatic attacks or symptoms in each patient and help them avoid those factors. Doctors also prescribe medications including inhalers to manage the disease. Inhalers contain anticholinergics and beta-agonists, which treat asthmatic attacks effectively. This article outlines some essential oils for asthma that are effective in preventing asthma attacks.

9 Essential Oils to Help Crack Asthma:

  1. Peppermint

Peppermint essential oil has decongestant and antihistamine properties that relieve asthma attacks. Exposure to allergens such as dust mites and pollen trigger your body to release histamines, which in turn trigger asthma attacks. Peppermint inhibits the release of histamine in your body.

How to Apply: Combine 2 drops of Peppermint essential oil with one drop of Lemon, 8 drops of Lavender, and 20 drops of carrier oil. You can use carrier oils such as sweet almond, olive, or jojoba. Rub your chest using this mixture twice in a day to prevent asthma attacks.

  1. Lavender

Lavender is one of the essential oils that have sedative and anti-inflammatory characteristics that are effective in managing asthma.

How to Apply: Its use and application can be achieved by inhaling a combination of Lavender and Eucalyptus or Peppermint, which can relieve mild asthma attacks.

Another way of using Lavender for asthma attacks is adding several drops of the oil into a bowl with hot water. Cover your head with a towel and inhale the steam from the bowl, which helps to clear your airways and cleanses your skin.

  1. Roman Chamomile and Bergamot

These essential oils for asthma are antispasmodics. They relieve asthma symptoms by relieving muscle contractions that narrow bronchial passages. Roman Chamomile and Bergamot essential oils have sedative properties that relax the body. This relaxation is necessary because tension accompanies asthma attacks.

How to Apply: Mix a few drops of Bergamot and Roman Chamomile oils and use the mixture to rub your chest and back. The mixture relieves mild and severe asthma attacks.

  1. Tea Tree Oil

Tea Tree Oil is an effective expectorant that removes mucous from your system. Mucous causes coughing and wheezing in asthma patients. The essential oil is also effective in relieving respiratory conditions such as coughing and bronchitis.

How to Apply: Using Tea Tree Oil to treat asthma is simple. Place a clean face towel in warm water, wring, and add a few drops of Tea Tree Oil on the damp, warm towel. Breathe through the warm towel until cool. Repeat the process until you feel relieved.

  1. Eucalyptus

Eucalyptus oil has a strong scent that helps in decongesting airways. The oil contains eucalyptol, which breaks any phlegm and mucous in your system and allows you to breathe easily.

How to Apply: Adds a few drops of the oil to hot water, then breathe the steam from this combination to expand your congested airways and relax lung spasms.

  1. Frankincense

Frankincense oil has expectorant and anti-inflammatory properties. The oil helps in decongesting lungs and nasal passages during an asthma attack. This essential oil is also useful in relieving anxiety, confusion, and stress.

How to Apply: One way of using Frankincense oil is wafting its scent into the air using a reed diffuser. Alternatively, you can use the oil to rub your chest.

  1. Oregano

Oregano oil has antibacterial and anti-fungal properties. It relieves breathing difficulties in asthmatic patients instantly when inhaled. Oregano oil is also effective in preventing respiratory tract infections.

How to Apply: Combine 25 drops of the oil with 5oz of water in an atomizer bottle to make a mist and then inhale the vapor. Another way of using this essential oil is by adding its drops to an essential oil diffuser with water.

  1. Clove

Clove oil is one of the most effective essential oils for asthma. Clove oil has many properties that relieve asthma symptoms, which include antispasmodic, analgesic, and anti-inflammatory properties. The oil helps in expanding constricted respiratory airways and relieving breathing difficulties in asthma patients.

How to Apply: You can use a vaporizer or oil diffuser to diffuse Clove oil in the air for about 20 minutes. Clove oil is also used as a chest rub. Rubbing Clove oil directly to your skin may cause irritation. Instead, dilute the oil with water or almond oil before applying it on your skin.

  1. Thyme

Thyme essential oil is beneficial in boosting the immune system and strengthening the respiratory system with its antiseptic, antibacterial, and expectorant properties. In fact, it is effective in eliminating all asthmatic symptoms including coughing and colds.

How to Apply: One way of using Thyme oil is combining it with Bergamot oil and using the mixture as a chest rub. An alternative way is to add Thyme oil in hot water and breathe through the steam. This steam therapy eliminates breathing difficulties and reduces wheezing.

Tips for Using Essential Oils Safely:

Tips for Using Essential Oils Safely:

Always consult your doctor before using any essential oil as a new treatment for asthma. Using essential oils for asthma requires caution and safety. Strong odors trigger asthma symptoms and attacks. Hence, you must ensure that the fragrance of the essential oil you intend to use does not trigger your asthma symptoms. It is advisable to use therapeutic grade oils because they are safe when used in and on your body.

Another safety precaution when using essential oils is to start with a drop on your skin. Wait for a few minutes and check how your body reacts to the essential oil. You may avoid using the oil if you are sensitive to the oil or dilute it in a carrier oil. Use essential oils in small amounts and seek advice from experts, books, and other guidelines on when and how an essential oil should be used.

Open Yourself to New Possibilities!

Body frequency and its effect on overall wellness and disposition is a huge topic. If you have the time, I would recommend digging into it a bit deeper. Many natural healers have spent their entire lives researching this topic and some of their discoveries have been nothing short of baffling.

While you can’t shield yourself from all low frequencies, you can make a conscious decision to bring as many positive frequencies into your life as possible. Start by choosing to think positively (yes, it is a choice!) and, if you haven’t already, make a point of using your essential oils more regularly.
