Lave Stone is formed from molten lava that solidifies under intense heat and pressure. Little pockets of gas bubbles get trapped within the stone and create holes in its porous surface. The porous surface and absorbent properties make Lava Stone excellent for diffusing your favorite essential oils. Just use a drop or two of your favorite oils and rub them on the beads. The easiest way is to add the oil on your finger first and then rub it on the beads. You can rub the remaining residue on your hands and inhale for extra benefit. A drop or two might last 2-4 hours, if you use more oil it can sometimes last up to 24 hours.
